Sleigh by Martha Lee Scarboro | Veneration

Martha Lee Scarboro Sledge, 78, of Elizabethtown, died on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.

She was from Wake County, North Carolina, a retired sales associate at the Lifeway Christian Book Store, and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where she was a prayer chain leader, teacher of the Sunday school and sat on various committees. She loved the Lord, her family with all her heart and lived her life fully.

Survivors include her 52-year-old husband, Tom Sledge; a daughter and her husband, Tanya Lee and Michael R. Radeke of Frankfort; and two grandchildren, Austin B. Talbert (Angela) and Michael Thomas Radeke.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 15 at Brown’s Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Brother Mike Walker officiating.

Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday and continues at 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
