St. Luke’s Lutheran

Sunday we are delighted to welcome Pastor C. David Godshall to worship. Pastor Godshall was St. Luke’s first full-time pastor, serving from 1959 to 1965. Pastor Godshall will serve as the reader for the day. After the service, we will meet at Memorial Hall for a “brunch-sharing!” This is part of our 100th anniversary celebration. Those who bring items for the potluck are encouraged to bring items prepared with recipes from one of two cookbooks St. Luke has published over its 100-year history. BARTO — The Lutheran Church of Christ will worship this Pentecost Sunday on Sunday, June 5, with a Holy Communion worship service at 9 a.m. Reverend Matthew Finney will lead worship and deliver the sermon. During the service, Confirmands: Chase Bartman, Hunter Francisco and Julissa Sandoval will affirm their faith in the Rite of Confirmation. We would like to thank the Confirmand leaders during this two-year promotion: Denise Hoffman and Gerry Flicker, as well as each Confirmand mentor. Before worship, coffee and conversation will be at 8:30 a.m. at the Visitor Center, then again after worship at 10:15 a.m. The Property Committee will meet on Monday, June 6 at 7 p.m. at the Visitor Center.
