Church of Christ at Grove Farm

A free fall festival will be held from 5-8 p.m. on September 24. Airbrush tattoos, inflatables, obstacle courses, pumpkin patch wagon rides, games, truck touchdowns, fireworks and more. Food truck tickets will be available for purchase.

Parenting with a Purpose begins September 24. The four-week seminar will help parents overcome current challenges and barriers children face. Each week will feature a different topic and a qualified and expert speaker. Topics include raising mentally healthy children, understanding the mind of adolescents, and online safety. Speakers include Duffy Robbins, Deb Ott and Stacy Gallagher. Babysitting services and children’s programs are available.

The Women United in Faith of Sewickley United Methodist Church will be holding a clearance sale for missions from 3-7 p.m. September 9 and 9-1 p.m. September 10 at the church. Gently used household items, seasonal clothing, shoes, books, puzzles and more will be available. Please enter through Gate 10 from the Thorn Street driveway. The 55 Plus Divine Redeemer Club will meet on the third Thursday of each month, September through May. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

The fall sale will take place on September 9 from noon to 5 p.m. and on September 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (half-price sale after 3:30 p.m.). Pierogies, haluski, hot dogs and drinks will be available for purchase on Saturday.

St. Stephen’s Anglican Church

The Christy House, located at the corner of Frederick and Walnut streets, is hosting a garage sale on September 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lawn and inside the dining room. Take-out dishes of Butternut Squash Bisque, Fall Chicken Salad and Zucchini Bread will be on sale.
