Second Harvest Mobile Pantry: Faith Presbyterian Church, 7520 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, will host a Mobile Pantry on the afternoon of November 29 in the church parking lot. Registration begins at 12:45 p.m. and food distribution is expected to begin around 1:00 p.m. Food is distributed on a first come, first served basis until it runs out. Recipients must adhere to USDA income eligibility guidelines and provide acceptable identification upon registration.

Musical and Dramatic Christmas Carols: 10:15 a.m. or 5 p.m. December 5 at Covenant Baptist Church, 165 Craig Road, Lancaster. All are welcome to this Christmas production which features the Covenant Choir and Praise Group, a children’s choir, a theater team and guest musicians from Winthrop University.

Candlelight service: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on December 5 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1152 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster. Hosted by Hope for Grieving Parents, this service is open to all parents who have lost children. Doves will be released in memory of the lost children. 45th Pastoral Anniversary: ​​The First Kershaw Missionary Baptist Church will honor Reverend Dr Waldo Robinson and his wife, Jean, on their 45th pastoral anniversary at 9 a.m. on December 12. The guest speaker will be Reverend Randy Groves, Pastor of Pleasant. Kershaw Valley Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Marion H. Newton, pastor of Jehovah’s Baptist Missionary Church in Sumter, will be the guest speaker at the 4 pm service that day.

Field Service: Sand Hill Baptist Missionary Church, 4143 Uriah Road, Kershaw, and Pastor Reggie L. Bodrick will hold an Field Service in the church picnic area at 6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month . The next service is December 15th.
