The Clarks Chapel Baptist Church has a mid-1970s Model 802 Wurlitzer electric organ to donate to any interested church. It has two (2) rows of keys and two (2) octave pedals. It was replaced because it occasionally made “roar” and “creak” sounds when played. If interested, contact Robert Marshall at 828-499-2137.

In November, when Caldwell volunteers visited Caswell, they discovered that one of the laundry room’s two dryers had died and could not be repaired. Lillian Turnmire, a longtime volunteer who has always worked in the laundry room, challenged the team to raise funds to purchase a new clothes dryer for the Assembly. A new dryer, installed, would cost $6,323.04. This is much needed equipment and the team agreed to encourage their churches to help raise funds to purchase one. Could you please present this need to your church and see if they would contribute to this on behalf of Caldwell volunteers? Checks can be made out to Caldwell Baptist Association, PO Box 1555, Lenoir, NC 28645 and marked Caswell Dryer. Any money over and above the amount needed will be returned to the Assembly for use as needed. When they get the dryer, we’ll call it “Lillian”. The date for submitting contributions has been postponed to February 18, 2022. Thank you for enjoying our assembly.
