Free Movie Tonight at Jackson Center ChurchVincent United Methodist Church, 28 Walnut St., Jackson Center, invites the community to a free outdoor movie with refreshments beginning at 7:30 p.m. today. Hymn sung on Sunday at the Holy Trinity in GreenvilleAn old-fashioned hymn singing and ice cream social will begin at 5.30pm on Sunday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1 Trinity Place, Greenville. The singing of the hymn will feature the church’s music director, Maidene Hackett, on the organ. The community is invited to attend. The Clinton Street church entrance is handicapped accessible.

Fish fry at Isaiah 49, Inc.Isaiah 49, Inc., of Hermitage is hosting a fish dinner fundraiser today to benefit women attending the Women’s Empowerment Conference next week. Fries are available from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. or while supplies last. Deliveries will be made within a four mile radius for a nominal fee. The fish dinner includes whiting fish, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, southern green beans, cornbread and cake for $14. A sandwich and its accompaniment cost $11. Forgiveness Workshop at Unity Spiritual CenterUnity Spiritual Center Girard will host a workshop, “Unresolved Issues: Healing Through Forgiveness of the Past,” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 1226 Naylor Lloyd Road.

Join Dianne Pela-Melillo, psychotherapist, neuro-linguistic programming trainer, author, and motivational speaker with extensive experience using NLP to help recover from addiction, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. She has assisted many people in her private practice, workshops and seminars.

Hubbard Church offers VBSThe Hubbard Church of the Nazarene, 1815 Cherry Lane Drive SE, Hubbard, Ohio, will be sponsoring the Vacation Bible School with the theme “SonSurf Beach Bash VBS,” from 6-8:30 p.m. August 8-10. All children ages five through 6th graders are welcome.

Living Faith Christian Church Announces Services

The worship service at Living Faith Christian Church, 829 Sharon-New Castle Road, Farrell begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Everyone is welcome.

Orangeville Baptist organizes services, events

Orangeville Baptist Church, 7600 Orangeville Road, Sharpsville, offers Sunday school for all ages beginning at 10 a.m., with worship at 11 a.m. and Bible study and prayer Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.

The church is still collecting food for its pantry, as well as clothing and household items.

Men’s breakfast is at 10 a.m. on Saturdays.

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. on August 5-6 and 11 a.m. on August 7. This year’s theme is “Hayday”.

Sharon Outreach Bible Study Gathers

Sharon Outreach Bible Study, a ministry of Covenant Church, Grove City, meets the first and third Friday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 263 E. State St., Sharon. The next study is August 5. All are welcome.

Our Liberty Chapel Announces Services

Our Liberty Chapel, 106 Mercer Ave., Sharpsville, a non-denominational Bible-based church, announces its 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship and children’s church.

Free bakery bread and cups of coffee are available to the public. Discipleship Ekklesia Class is at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. Watch live on Facebook or listen on the radio station 89.7 FM.

Trinity Presbyterian Church, 110 E. Market St., Mercer, continues its 2022 Summer Musical Series on Sunday with RJ and Pressley Washil, piano and vocals.

Upcoming music: Marilyn Rost, vocals, August 7; Carol Carlson, vocals, August 14; Dana Eade, instrumental, August 21; Leah Bortz, vocals, August 28. The series concludes with Larry Moose, mountain dulcimer, serving at 11 a.m. on September 4.
