The Music and Worship Division of the Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville, hosted a Fall Music Symposium on October 4 in the RG Lee Chapel with Jon Tyner, Music Minister at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola.

According to the event coordinators, around 30 people attended, including members of the local community, BCF alumni and current students.

During the symposium, attendees reviewed team building skills, spiritual development, worship team leadership, audio and click / multitrack training, rhythm section coordination, rehearsal of the singing and setting up all this with technical teams.

Tyner not only led the various training sessions, but also led worship during chapel Monday working with the BCF Ensemble One Voice in a time of congregational praise and worship.

BCF prepares students for vocations as cult leaders, teachers, counselors, pastors, child and youth ministers, business owners, missionaries and equips them to succeed in the marketplace. Offering educational seminars and workshops like this adds another tool to the toolbox that BCF students can use in their profession.
